Joseph Meyer

Founder and CEO
“Joseph Meyer is a tenured executive who has held key positions within large and start-up enterprises in the telecom and financial technology sector since 1992. He honed his leadership skills while serving in the Military as an Armor/Cavalry Captain and Major in the US Army Reserves. At age 34, he was named President of BellSouth Products. A successful entrepreneur, Joseph has successfully launched and sold four technology platform companies. He founded the first open-loop Payroll/Prepaid Card Company, Skylight Financial (now owned by TSYS). He also launched electronic billing and invoicing disruptor InterPoynt, which was sold to a Nasdaq-listed global financial services company. Joseph earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at Iowa State.”

Saket Thakkar

CTO, Technology
“Saket Thakkar has more than 20 years of IT experience, primarily focused on ERP, CRM, e-commerce, and portal application domains. Before joining CentralBOS in 2014, Saket worked with startups and mid-level companies across the U.S., UK, and India. He has led projects for clients with operations and teams distributed across multiple countries, time zones, and work cultures. Saket has expertise in SAP, Open source, Microsoft and Middleware platforms.”

Dan Catan

VP, Sales and Marketing
“Dan Catan has deep experience in software and services, including SaaS and cloud-based technologies. He has held CEO and Senior Sales, Marketing and Operations department positions at large ERP, hardware, and professional services companies such as IBM, PeopleSoft, Oracle, and a company acquired by INFOR. He also has been instrumental in guiding a number of start-up and IPO-driven enterprises through successful launches, and has led acquisition and assimilation efforts for more than 20 entities, exceeding $500M in total value. During the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics, Dan helped to generate $1.1B in revenue and managed the production and operations of two venues. Dan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from St. John Fisher College, where he was a member of the Track & Field team and an NCFA All-American running back.”

Kathy Semanate

VP of Operations & Finance
“Kathy Semanate brings over 20 years of experience helping companies evaluate their infrastructure and re-engineer their operations to add efficiencies and improve their bottom line. She most recently served as an executive for a homeowner insurance carrier, providing leadership, management and vision to ensure the company had adequate controls and reporting procedures to effectively grow the organization, its financial strength and operational efficiency. Kathy was previously a regional financial controller for an international company in charge of the Latin America division. As a manager of internal audit and controls for a multinational corporation, she established the internal audit division, creating a system of best practices for 13 of their offices located across Europe, Asia and Latin America. Kathy is a licensed certified public accountant with Big 5 public accounting (Arthur Andersen) and international experience which she integrates with her skills in management information systems.”

Cara Ovadia

VP Human Resources, Product Manager
“Cara Ovadia is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) with more than a decade of management experience. Prior to joining CentralBOS in 2014, Cara worked at the corporate headquarters for Park ‘N Fly, first as the HR Generalist and then HR Manager. Throughout her tenure at Park ‘N Fly, she provided HR support to their nationwide operations in areas such as payroll, staffing, employee relations, HR compliance, benefits, and leave administration. Cara holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.”

Cole Robbins

New Business Development Manager
“Cole Robbins manages new business development while also bridging the gap between sales and product development for growing technology companies. Prior to joining CentralBOS in 2014, Cole managed the product launch, sales, and marketing for CenergyIT’s Interact solution. This innovative IP camera-based solution captures and allows critiques of interactions, performances and surveillance of observable behaviors and actions. Through his efforts, Interact has launched into more than 25 universities. Cole holds a Master of Science in Marketing and Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama.”
