Harvey Shuster, CPA
Harvey Shuster has over 30 years experience building emerging growth and start-up technology companies, as well as consulting to enterprise organizations to build their own successful ventures. His extensive experience includes sales, finance, operations, product development, and raising capital. Harvey is a respected serial entrepreneur most known for having founded and raised funds for Peachtree Software, which is the company that standardized accounting on the personal computer. He has started and successfully exited four companies and helped to launch and raise funds for numerous others, including a well-known early eLearning business whose clients included AT&T, IBM, and Verizon. He launched and managed the eLearning division of BellSouth (AT&T), overseeing a team of 35 people. Harvey also managed the microcomputer consulting practice for PWC (Coopers & Lybrand), where he also worked in audit and earned his CPA license. Presently, Harvey serves on the board of many not-for-profit organizations, including the Southeastern Software Association. He holds a MBA in Finance from Drexel University and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Temple University. He is a published author, and a veteran of the United States Army who served as an Officer in Vietnam and has been awarded the Bronze Star.
Benn R. Konsynski, Ph.D.
Benn R. Konsynski is George S. Craft Professor of Business Administration for Information Systems at the Goizueta Business School, Emory University. Prior appointments were Harvard Business School and the University of Arizona, where he was co-founder of the group decision support laboratory. Benn holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University and specializes in issues of digital commerce and interorganizational systems. He studies immersion technologies and virtual environments. He has published in diverse research journals and serves on boards and advisory roles in public and private organizations.
